Manufacturing Indicators Rise Sharply

The quarterly Manufacturers Alliance just released their survey of manufacturing indicators and the results are very encouraging. The composite index rose from 57% to 78%, which is the highest reading registered since the June, 2004 survey. New orders, backlog and shipments are improved. Walmart Cutting Prices
